Paul Koczak has ridden motorbikes all over our vast land. While looking through a collection of old photos Paul had stashed in a couple of shoe boxes, he started telling me about some of the trips. I had an idea, thus Koczak Chronicles was born, enjoy!
From working in the Motorcycle Industry for 8.5 years to riding a 2010 BMW R1200GS from Chicken Alaska to Ushuaia Argentina over 13 months, from experience I know a few things about motorcycles, parts and gear now.
We have been fortunate and have been living the adventure motorcyclist’s dream since 2012. After 82 countries and nearly 250,000 kilometres we have developed a deep appreciation for gear that works well.
Decided to change the OEM panniers with Soft ones just before a 12,000km+ in the Caucasus mountains. My choice was BUMOT Xtremada soft panniers including integrated rack-mount tool box which keep all my tools over the trip, allow me to change a flat tire on the go, adjust the chain, change brake pads/etc.
