Quick Release Mechanism
The Xtremada soft panniers attach to BUMOT pannier racks (required and sold separately) using BUMOT’s innovative stainless-steel, exterior mounted Quick-release mechanism. This is the same Quick-release design that received rave reviews on the Bumot EVO aluminium hard panniers, and the key locks allow you to lock the bags to the rack directly.
The rear-mounted quick release lever allows you to remove or install the bag within seconds, without the need for adapter plates, brackets, or other hardware.

Quick-Release System

Made from Heavy Duty Fabric
Dual-layer construction of 1100 Denier DuPont CORDURA® Ballistic and 650g vinyl-coated polyester means these bags are built to survive in the toughest conditions. Panniers lock to bike
The rear mounted quick-release system comes with key locks and allows you to remove or install the bag within seconds, no adapter plates, brackets or other hardware are required. This makes it very difficult to be stolen if left unattended.
Large Pannier Storage space
A set of soft panniers includes a 31 Litre & 35 Litre (31 litre is notched to suit exhaust cutout), 66 litres plus a pair of 2 litre pockets on each soft pannier. Total capacity is 74 litres!
Key match your locks
Locks can be keyed to match your existing EVO Panniers, tool box or top box. Simply supply the number on your existing key before ordering to be assured you only need one key for your luggage.
Two drink/fuel storage areas
Each soft pannier has the provision for two separate storage areas which to hold up to 2 litres or fuel/water. That is 8 litres of water/fuel in total for a pair of soft panniers.
YKK zips & 50mm buckles
YKK is the world's premier producer of zips and buckles. Check any well made luggage designed for the outdoors and you will see they are fitted with YKK. The 50mm straps can be used as tie-down points to lash additional gear to the top of the bag.

Roll Top Dry Bags x 2
Each pannier set comes with two roll top dry bags (one per pannier) to keep your valuables 100% water proof. This also allows you to remove the contents of the pannier without needing to remove the pannier from the bike.

These are the first panniers I’ve added to a motorbike, in the past I’ve had soft saddlebags which wrapped around the back of my DRZ400. They did the job fine, but these Bumot Xtremada Soft Panniers take the term travelling in luxury to a new level. The roads I travel tend to be rough, I like exploring the back of back roads, even on my Tenere 700. I’ve found that even though I’m a bit of a light weight (72kgs) I can lift the Tenere 700 up with both panniers full and the tail bag full as well. This was reassuring because I like to ride by myself occasionally and given the areas I explore it was inevitable that I would drop the bike.
The panniers are made really well, I love how easy they are to access and also how I can strap my tripod, chair and sleeping bag on the top of the panniers. It’s a great system which has been well thought through. Being able to easily unlock the panniers when you arrive at your destination and take the whole pannier inside is a bonus, it can be done in a matter of seconds.
I’d highly recommend this system for anyone who likes to ride gnarly trails and still carry a bit of gear.
